Homemade Flax Crackers
Posted by admin on
This easy and savory cracker recipe made with flax seed is deliciously addictive and good for you too!

You may already know this, but I am a cracker freak, or quite possibly a cracker snob. I love crackers! I get excited with the thought of trying new flavors available at the store (gluten free, of course). But I also enjoy making my own at home.
A couple of my favorite recipes are Rosemary Pie Crust Crackers and Homemade Gluten Free Ranch Crackers. They are super easy to make and bake to perfection, every time!
Today I have a new favorite cracker in town. These Homemade Flax Crackers are thin, flaky, vegan and gluten free. A delicious homemade snack perfect for your entire family including kids!
Theyre perfect with hummus and dips but also pair well with salads and soups.

Start by combining the following dry ingredients in a mixing bowl:
- 1cupground flax seeds
- 1Tbspflax seeds
- 2Tbspchia seeds
- 2Tbspalmond flour
- 1/2tspgarlic salt
- 1/2tsponion powder
- 2tspdry Italian seasoning

Slowly add 1/2 cup water (a little bit at a time) to the dry ingredients, and mix well.

Next, roll out the dough onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. (The thinner you can get the dough the better.)
Score the dough into desired size crackers. This will make them easier to break apart after baking.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for approximately 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before breaking apart.

This recipe for Homemade Flax Crackers is sure to become a family favorite. Be sure to check out my other homemade cracker recipes below!
